The school aims at giving sound general education to the pupils. The school fulfils this aim by using a curriculum which comprises a number of vital subjects.

Brief History of the School

The school started in kano as salsa int. Sch. In may 1994. The movement to gwagwalada was in september 1999 and named slalsat international school.

 

In september 2000, the school was dedicated to God and this time the name changed to Adonai int. School . 

 

It is with this present name it was registered with the cooperate affairs commission and the ministry of education, FCT.

 

In Gwagwalada the school started with just a few pupils at a temporary site in phase1.

 

Today, adonai international school is located on a vast piece of land approximately covering 1 hectare (10,000m2) in gwgwalada expansion layout. It has two blocks with five (5) classrooms each, two administrative blocks, a playing ground and a population fo 350 pupils for now.

 A block of five classrooms was  added for the secondary arm.

 

The school now has a branch in gwaimpa estate, FCT.

 The school has a staff strength of 25 teachers and 12 none teaching staff.

 

The proprietress Elder Patricia is a seasoned educationist who has trained in London, Great Britain. The school has produced pupils and students who have excelled in Eternal examinations standing out above their peers

 

To God be the glory. Great things he has done.

Co-curricular

There are varieties of co-curricular activities for proper development of the students and pupils. These are grouped under sports, club and societies.

Student and Pupil Support

     Pupils and students requiring additional, individual support are assisted by pupil support staff who work closely with subject teachers, parents and pupils to ensure that these pupils are given the best opportunity for success.


    Pupils in this category are given remedial classes to enable them cope with their work. Pupils’ progress is constantly monitored and reviewed in individual subject areas.
